Park launches new social media competition for wildlife lovers
Dubai: Dubai Safari Park, set to close for the summer on June 1, is offering free tickets through a new competition.
The city’s popular wildlife and tourism attraction is inviting community members to share their favourite animal memories on the park’s official Instagram page. To enter the competition, individuals must respond to the park’s post by sending a direct message with a memory involving animals, between May 5 and 19.
Winners will receive free access to the park before its sixth season, themed ‘Conservation of the Planet’, concludes. Some of the most touching stories will also be featured on the park’s social media channels, with full credit given to their authors.
What to expect?
The park remains a must-visit destination in the heart of the city, offering a range of immersive indoor and air-conditioned experiences throughout May. With more than seven indoor animal exhibits, visitors can still enjoy the warmer months by exploring attractions such as the lion and hyena enclosures, reptile house, chimpanzee house, gorilla house, hippo aquarium, and pygmy hippo aquarium.
Guests can experience up-close animal encounters from within fully air-conditioned, indoor exhibits. The park features shaded areas and enhanced misting systems to maximise visitor comfort. Additionally, air-conditioned shuttle trains – free with all tickets through the end of the season – offer convenient transport around the park.
For those seeking a deeper dive into the animal kingdom, the Explorer Safari Tour offers guided, air-conditioned drive-through experiences that showcase animals in settings designed to replicate their natural habitats. Led by expert tour guides, these safaris provide educational insights into the fascinating lives of the park’s resident species.
As part of a new initiative, a portion of every ticket sold will support vital conservation efforts.
