“I have been working here in the UAE since 2007 and purchasing Big Ticket for 16 years now. Thirteen of us friends had bought this winning ticket together,” Monsur, a resident of Abu Dhabi, told Gulf News after hitting the grand prize with ticket number 311573.

Gold giveaways in October
Big Ticket will be giving gold giveaways this October.
Fans are in for a treat as this month offers more opportunities than ever to win incredible prizes and make their dreams come true.
This month, Big Ticket is offering participants the chance to win a 24-karat gold bar every single day.
Starting October 1, each Big Ticket purchase gives fans the chance to win a 24-karat gold bar, every day.
This one-of-a-kind giveaway is giving participants daily opportunities to experience the thrill of winning big. From October 2 onward, every ticket bought will automatically enter fans into an electronic draw, offering a lucky winner the chance to take home a valuable gold bar each day.
But that’s just the beginning. Every ticket bought in October also secures your spot in the grand draw on November 3, where one fortunate participant will win the grand Dh20 million prize.
And it doesn’t stop there—Big Ticket is also giving away luxury cars.
During the November 3 draw, a Range Rover Velar, worth Dh355,000, will be up for grabs alongside the grand cash prize. In addition, the BMW 840i, valued at Dh420,000, will be launched on October 1, with the draw for this luxury car taking place on December 3.
Big Ticket is offering more than just incredible prizes this October—it’s providing participants with the opportunity to turn their dreams into reality. With daily chances to win 24-karat gold and a grand Dh20 million prize on the horizon, this month promises to be one of the most thrilling yet.
Tickets are available online at www.bigticket.ae or at counters located in Zayed International Airport and Al Ain Airport.

“I was watching the show live. We can’t express our joy when our number was called. We are all so excited,” said Monsur, who works as a mason. Most of his friends, who will share the winnings, also work in the construction sector earning between Dh1,000 and Dh3,000 each.

“We have been pooling in money - Dh50, Dh100 and more - to purchase these tickets. This time we bought tickets worth Dh1,000. We always believed that lady luck would smile on us one day. We have all become millionaires now.”

Following the windfall, Monsur hopes to ensure a better quality of life for his family.

“I hail from Chittagong. I have a wife, a daughter and two boys, both working in Dubai. Our future is secure. I will continue to buy tickets,” said the 52-year-old who plans to try his luck at the November draw of Big Ticket as well.
