New Emirates ID deadlines

 •June 30: Deadline for Dubai residents over the age of 15 years to apply for an Emirates ID, by filling out the application form online or at a registered typing centre

•September 30: Deadline for children below the age of 15 years across the UAE to apply for Emirates ID

•Residents whose visas expire in 2012 are exempt from the above deadlines. They can apply for an Emirates ID when renewing their visas.

•Dh20 fee per day per individual for delay, upto a maximum of Dh1,000, if residents fail to apply before deadlines.
