Sharjah: A minor fire incident in the Dubai Marina area was swiftly brought under control on Monday, thanks to the prompt response by the Dubai Civil Defence.
The Operations Room of Dubai Civil Defence received the emergency report at 12.29pm regarding a fire on the rooftop of a building in the bustling Dubai Marina.
The Al Marsa Fire Station was immediately dispatched as the first responder and reached the scene within just five minutes, arriving at 12.34 pm.
Upon arrival, the teams discovered that the fire originated in the air conditioning coolers located on the rooftop. Specialised crews quickly initiated evacuation procedures and began firefighting operations to contain the flames.
By 12.44pm, the incident field commander reported that the fire was under control, and cooling operations were underway to prevent any potential re-ignition. The teams continued their work meticulously, ensuring complete safety and security for the area. At 1.28pm, a final signal was received confirming that the situation had been fully resolved.
