Man dies in jet ski collision near Mamzar in Sharjah

26-year-old British national died on the spot

Sharjah: A 26-year-old British man died on the spot when his jet ski collided with another in Mamzar area in Sharjah on Thursday  evening, an official at Sharjah Police told Gulf News.

Police said a rescue unit and an ambulance were dispatched immediately to the scene of the accident.

The body of the accident victim, identified as M.A., has been moved to hospital.

The second jet ski involved in the accident belonged to a 29-year-old German national. He was injured in the accident and moved to Kuwaiti Hospital in Sharjah.

Al Buhairah Police have registered a case.

Sharjah Police urged beachgoers to follow all safety instructions so as to avoid fatal accidents.
