Key visits that bolstered UAE-India ties celebrated amid Sheikh Hamdan’s India visit
Dubai: Amid the first official India visit of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, the Government of Dubai Media Office has released a collage of six historic images that bolstered the bilateral ties between the UAE and India.
The post shared on the social media platform X with the title “UAE-India relations” showcases photographs of six UAE leaders' historic visits to India, during which they held discussions with the respective Indian prime ministers, as shown in the following timeline:
January 1975: Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan with Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi
May 1981: Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum with Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi
March 2010: Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh
January 2024: Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi
September 2024: Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi
