Lecture on job sincerity

The Public Libraries Section of Dubai Municipality held a lecture on job sincerity last week at Al Safa Library, for employees of local government departments.

Sheikh Abdullah Al Shami, of the Department of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, spoke on the occasion.

Al Shami in his speech mentioned different aspects of sincerity, including its place in Islamic faith, references to sincerity in the Holy Quran, and sincerity in a crisis.

Mausooma Abul Hasan, Head of the User Services Unit in the Public Libraries Section, delivered the opening address.

Jenan Sadeq Al Tamimi, Supervisor of Umm Suqeim Public Library, said the lecture was aimed at creating an opportunity for employees in different local departments to get to know each other.

The event was attended by employees of Dubai Municipality, the Department of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Dubai Courts, Dubai Water and Electricity Authority and National Human Resources Authority (Tanmia).
