The global LCD TV market is witnessing a surge in demand.

The current market trend indicates that in 2003, global demand is expected to reach 1.5 million units, and is likely to grow to a staggering 3.5 million units in 2005, said Yasuyuki Shimizu, Manager, Consumer Electronics, Panasonic Marketing Middle East FZE.

"In view of this positive forecast, it was indeed opportune to introduce the technologically advanced LCD TV to the Middle East market."

"Customers in the region are fully aware of the rapid developments in the field of technology and as a result are constantly on the lookout for quality and top-of-the range products." he said.

Due to rapidly increasing demand for high quality picture display, Panasonic, has recently announced the launch of the innovative wide-screen LCD TV in the Middle East.

With its cutting-edge technology as well as its ultra-thin and lightweight design structure, the LCD TV provides viewers with the opportunity to experience a higher dimension in television viewing.
