Jeremy Healy, one of the world's most sought-after DJ's and the man who provides music for international designers such as John Galliano, will make his Middle East debut with two appearances in the UAE.
Healy, who was voted number one DJ by "Face" magazine and "Mixmag", will appear at a.m.p.m. at the Hotel Inter-Continental Abu Dhabi at 10pm on Wednesday, and at a new nightclub, Delirium, at Atlantis in Dubai on Thursday, said Richard Coram of the promoters, The Talent Brokers. Healy first hit the music scene with the group "Hyasi Fantasysi" and soon established himself as the UK's finest jingle producer. He produced and underscored the sound effects for the Duran Duran feature film, "Arena".
He and his long-time friend and collaborator, Amos, released two successful singles. Their first hit, "Argentina", was performed on the Top of the Pops and reached the top 20, and "Stamp" stormed to the top 10. Healy also provides music for fashion shows and has done music for the catwalk for Versace, Vivienne Westwood and Jigsaw. Known for his flamboyance, this party DJ will soon release a new album through BMG. Tickets for the Healy show are Dh50 in Abu Dhabi and Dh75 in Dubai.
