Dubai: Even as realty experts predict luxury property prices will drop 10 per cent this year, demand for penthouses remains strong among wealthy families in Dubai.
“It is not every day that a penthouse comes up for grabs. When it does, it attracts high-end users who are ready to set aside a part of their wealth just to live in it,” said Mohammad Magdy, Business Development Manager, Coldwell Banker.
Dubai has 911 completed high-rises, 88 of which are taller than 180 metres (591 feet) and 18 taller than 300 metres.
“Since freehold came into existence in Dubai, developers have always had a penchant to build skyscrapers and penthouses, said Magdy.
