Indian expat in Dubai wins Big Ticket e-draw, now eyes Dh20 million

Dubai: An Indian expat from Kerala who has been living in Dubai for the past seven years has won Dh50,000 in Big Ticket’s weekly e-draw held in Abu Dhabi.
Ajai Krishnakumar Jayan, a 32-year-old purchase officer, started trying his luck a year ago after learning about Big Ticket through social media posts.
“Really! Good to hear that. I didn’t expect to win the e-draw, but I was hoping to win the Dh20 million grand prize,” Jayan told show host Bouchra after bagging the weekly draw with ticket number 303294.

For the past year, Jayan has been purchasing tickets occasionally as part of a group of 10 friends.
“I will be sharing the prize money among my group and use my share to continue purchasing Big Ticket entries,” Jayan said, noting that the group has been buying tickets in hopes of hitting the life-changing jackpot.

“We bought tickets together for a chance to win Dh20 million.”

Dreaming of winning the grand prize one day, he urged others to keep trying their luck.
“My advice to others is to give it a try, you never know when your luck might strike.”
Jayan’s winning ticket will be back in the drum for the Dh20 million jackpot draw to be held on August 3.
