The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security has decided to exempt Iranian nationals currently residing in the UAE from fines incurred due to delays in leaving the country, whether they are residents or visitors holding any type of entry visa.

This measure comes in response to the exceptional circumstances currently affecting the region and aims to ease the situation for this group, which has been unable to return to their home country due to the closure of airspace and the suspension of flights.

The ICP affirms its commitment to considering humanitarian aspects and providing full support to residents and visitors in the UAE. It calls upon those covered by this exemption to register through the smart services platform or visit customer happiness centers across the country.
