Keep yourself hydrated, take regular breaks and, most importantly, have fun, doctor says
While Fun Drivers enjoy themselves under the desert sun, it is vital to stay healthy and energetic throughout the eight-hour drive. Here are a few health tips to bear in mind:
• Participants with chronic diseases like diabetes and hypertension should make sure that they carry their medication to avoid any emergency that my happen in the middle of the desert.
• Do not skip regular meals as this might promote dizziness and fatigue.
• Make sure meals are nutritious. Fruits such as apples are recommended.
• Drink lots of water and keep the body hydrated.
• Have frequent rest breaks in order to maintain energy throughout the eight-hour dive.
• Most importantly, have fun! The desert has a calming influence and interacting with nature can be very good for health.
