UAE reports 1,520 new coronavirus cases, 7 deaths

Dubai: UAE confirmed the detection of 1,520 new coronavirus cases, and 7 deaths on Saturday.

The total number of confirmed cases in the UAE since the start of the pandemic is 648,702 while the total number of recoveries is 626,800.

With Saturday's updates, the death toll has risen to 1,860. UAE currently has 20,042 active COVID-19 cases.

The new cases were detected after 299,363 tests conducted over the past few days. Vaccination doses in the country have crossed 15.8 million.
