Dubai: UAE confirmed the detection of 1,518 new coronavirus cases and 6 deaths on Sunday.

1,490 recoveries were also announced on Sunday, taking the total recoveries to 628,290. The total number of confirmed cases is 650,220.

The death toll is now 1,866 after Sunday's update. Over 280,000 tests were conducted over the past few days which led to the detection of the new cases.
