Tobacco addiction course

Dubai: As part of the Tobacco Free Dubai project, which was launched by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) in 2009, a two-day workshop on tobacco addiction will be held on January 26 and 27.

Aimed at educating healthcare workers, the ‘Treating Tobacco Dependence - Training Workshop’ will focus on the latest advances in treating tobacco addiction as well discuss recommendations based on the latest scientific research.

Specialists in the field including Global Bridges Alliance, international specialists in smoking cessation and the King Hussain Cancer Centre in Jordan will hold educational lectures.
