Dubai: Thumbay Group has expanded health-care services by opening family clinics in Ajman, Dubai, Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah.

The Thumbay clinic in Ajman opened on June 16 this year. Clinics in Dubai, Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah are set to open in the first week of July while both Thumbay Clinics in Sharjah are scheduled to open in August and October.

“As part of our strategic plan, 15 more clinics will be opened in the next two years. This is in line with our vision for 2020 to provide high quality health care at most affordable rates,” said Thumbay Moideen, Founder and President of Thumbay Group, UAE.

Thumbay clinics are the latest addition to the Thumbay Group’s growing number of health-care services. The clinics will focus on two goals which are personalising services and convenience. Thumbay hospitals and clinics are affiliated with Gulf Medical University and will also offer teaching and training facilities for the enrolled students.

Free consultations and check-ups in the Thumbay Ajman clinic will be offered during the first two weeks, which started on June 16 and will end on June 30. Akbar Moideen, Director of Healthcare in the Thumbay Group, said the clinics aim at providing high-quality, patient-focused, cost-effective health care to the communities they serve in all areas of the UAE.

Thumbay clinics will have practitioners in general medicine, ENT, paediatrics, cardiology, ophthalmology, general surgery, radiology, gynaecology, orthopaedic, pharmaceutical and insurance departments.

Thumbay Pharmacy is the first of its kind in Ajman to launch all medical equipment and rehabilitation care products. Customers will find products related to geriatrics, joint care and rehabilitation.
