In association with Bodyo, Dubai Health Authority is planning to set up free-to-use artificial intelligence (AI) pods across the city. The pods will be able to perform quick health scans for the public, and provide immediate results.

Bodyo has developed mobile AI-assisted pods or cubicles where people can step in and be screened for body temperature, blood sugar, blood pressure, body composition such as height, weight and other important information. The initial screening is simple and it takes less than 13 minutes to complete.

The aim of the pods is to provide the community in Dubai with free health screenings at their convenience. The pods empower users by providing them with an easy-to-use means of tracking their personal fitness goals and monitoring their health. The pods will also provide insights into the health of the population in the context of conditions such as chronic heart disease and blood sugar-related issues.

The health analysis pods can not only read vitals measurements but can also can provide users with personalised nutrition plans.

At last week’s Gitex Technology Week, Bodyo announced that it will set up five AI-assisted health pods at different public locations in Dubai by the end of this month.

Bodyo’s scanner differ from others available at locations such as gyms, which only scan certain body parts — these AI pods will provide a full body scan and a health score.
