Diabetes awareness activities at Mafraq Hospital

Abu Dhabi: In order to create awareness about diabetes and its risks, a series of activities and educational sessions are being organised by the Mafraq Hospital in Abu Dhabi, the hospital announced in a recent statement.

The awareness initiative, which kicked off on November 11 also incorporates sports-related events to encourage physical activity among children. Blood sugar tests and screenings for blood pressure and lipid levels are also being organised by the hospital, along with special activities for 30 paediatric diabetic patients and their families.
