Abu Dhabi: The UAE reported 3,539 new coronavirus cases and 9 deaths, authorities announced on Wednesday. There were 2,993 recoveries and 166,879 tests conducted in the past 24 hours, according to the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA).
The total number of confirmed cases in the country stands at 336,142 while total recoveries are 316,053. The total death toll is 956. Active cases in the UAE are 19,133.
The UAE has also distributed over 4.5 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccination to residents and citizens.
