COVID-19: UAE reports 1,352 new coronavirus cases,1 death

Abu Dhabi: The UAE has confirmed the detection of 1,352 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections to 747,909.

According to the latest coronavirus update by the Ministry of Health and Prevention on Friday, the virus claimed one life, taking death toll to 2,155.

A total of 509 people infected patients have made full recovery, shooting up the overall recoveries to 740,122.

The newly detected infections were identified after the ministry conducting 361,321 PCR tests across the country.

The ministry offered its condolences to the deceased’s family and wished patients a speedy recovery, urging the public to cooperate with health authorities and continue to stick to precautionary measures, particularly social distancing protocols, wearing mask and sanitisation to ensure the safety of everyone.
