Healing touch

It is amazing how experiences can change people's lives forever. Meet one such couple, Rupa and Viren Wahi.

In the summer of 2000, Rupa complained of severe backache. Medical diagnosis declared that she was a victim of disc prolapse (L4-L5), an ailment crippling many in this country. She sought relief from homeopathy and allopathy, but to no avail. For over a month and a half, Rupa was bedridden. When her condition worsened, she was advised surgery.

Plans were made to hospitalise her at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Just then, an old acquaintance of theirs told them of a doctor, S.K. Ramesh in Dubai, who could probably heal Rupa without surgery. Viren had no questions to ask. Such was the couple's condition then. He and Rupa met with Dr. Ramesh the following week.

Dr. Ramesh administered a treatment called TACHYON over four, 30-minute sessions that took away Rupa's pain forever. It has been over a year now and the only remnant of an ache that left Rupa and her family's future darkly uncertain is an occasional tiredness.

When Rupa and her husband met the doctor to pay him his dues, he told them to reward him by learning the art of TACHYON, and to do likewise for the people of Abu Dhabi.

TACHYON is a Greek word that means rapid or fast. TACHYON healing is based on the tapping of free-flowing energy in the environment. It is the outcome of a study conducted by a U.S.-based scientist David Wagner and his research team. The study theorises that when body cells become weak or die, the body becomes sensitive in that area, thus causing pain. When free-flowing energy is channelised into the afflicted cells of a living being, the cells become revitalised and restructured. These revitalised cells then return to their normal functioning.

Free-flowing energy is sourced through products that contain crystals in them, popularly called TACHYON products. They range from knee-hugs to headbands to special water. While TACHYON can be practised effectively on plants, animals and even food, it is most commonly administered to people for pain relief.

'TACHYON for Pain Management' makes use of a TLC bar which has an inlet and outlet. The inlet sources energy while the outlet dispenses it. The patient is placed in a cocoon (a special bed) and a band is run through the length of the body. The TLC bar is placed close to the head, special silica discs beneath the palms and near the feet. The eyes are covered and the feet are placed in TACHYONised soft slippers. The patient is left for 25 minutes, during which time the silica discs attempt to optimise energy flow within the patient.

Following this, the afflicted area is 'mapped'. Mapping helps trace the source of the pain. Once the exact spot is identified, it is covered with a special TACHYON cell which helps relieve pain. The entire session lasts 40 minutes, and the number of sessions a person requires depends on the acuteness of the pain.

Following Rupa's recovery, the Wahis enrolled in a seminar that imparted basic skills of TACHYON healing. This seminar changed their lives and through them the lives of about 200 people whom they have treated over the last 12 months.

Viren says the best part of becoming a TACHYON practitioner is that one does not need a prior medical background. Most of the cases are backache and knee pain. On occasion, he has attended to diabetes and high blood pressure complaints and mental illness among children. He claims a personal success rate of 70 per cent. His moment of triumph arrives when a patient describes how wholesome his life has become following treatment.

The Wahis now conduct seminars at hotels and corporates on the practice of TACHYON. They are professionals in their own right and use their free time to enrich the lives of others. Together they demonstrate how one can pay for the goodness one has received and the fruits of sharing that goodness
