Visa on arrival in UAE for Indian passport holders with UK and EU residence visa

Abu Dhabi: UAE Cabinet has approved visa on arrival for Indian passport holders with UK and EU residency visa.

Already, Indian passport holders with a valid American visa or a Green Card are granted UAE visa on arrival at all ports, starting from May 1, 2017.

The decision to have a simplified visa process is aimed at advancing the UAE-India relations in economic, politics, and trade, said officials.

It also contributes to achieving UAE’s vision to be the leading country in attracting global tourism.

VAT regulations approved

During a cabinet meeting which was held On Wednesday under the chairmanship of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Cabinet also approved Value-Added Tax and Excise Tax executive regulations, in line with the economic agreement signed between the GCC states.

The Cabinet also endorsed a community service integrated system, replacing minor penalties with useful woks that serve the community.

The meeting was begun by congratulating more than a million students on the new academic year. “Your national duty is to succeed. We depend on your success every year to develop our country and its future, Shaikh Mohammad said.
