Abu Dhabi vows not to spare efforts to bolster cooperation with Riyadh

Abu Dhabi: The UAE has commended Saudi Arabia’s decision to name a number of organisations, including the Muslim Brotherhood Group, on its terrorism list.

In a statement on Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) expressed the UAE’s full support to Saudi’s stance, deeming “these groups as terrorist”.

It praised the issuance of this decision in an important time in history of the nation amid turmoil that threatens its stability and aspirations for unity of its peoples.

The statement said, “The UAE will not spare any effort to bolster the cooperation with brothers in Saudi Arabia to tackle those terrorist groups through liquidating all forms of material and moral support in all circumstances.”

The MoFA said, “The significant step taken by the KSA in this critical moment requires concerted efforts and joint collective work to address the security and stability challenges that threaten the destiny of the Arab and Muslim nations,” calling for solidarity and cooperation of all states to reinforce this decision to keep the sedition at bay and stop fragmentation that faces the nation.
