New British Prime Minister Liz Truss makes an address outside Downing Street in London, on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 after returning from Balmoral in Scotland where she was formally appointed by Britain's Queen Elizabeth II.

Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a message of congratulations to Liz Truss on her appointment as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, also dispatched a similar message to Prime Minister Truss.
