Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Government has rolled out a new integrated online service called ‘Tamm’ offering all government and real estate services under one roof.

By 2020, Tamm will deliver all kinds of services to residents, visitors and tourists in the emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Currently, 140 government websites provide various services to the people, but by 2020, only one website — www.tammabudhabi.ae — will facilitate all these.

On Wednesday, the Abu Dhabi Smart Solutions and Services Authority (ADSSSA) introduced the first 80 services that will be available under Tamm umbrella to the media and claimed that it will gradually incorporate all services on the same website.

Each year, more than 100,000 residents change houses in Abu Dhabi. Officials said the website will help people find homes, and also schools, hospitals, clubs, beaches and grocery stores in the proximity.

Aisha Al Marzouqi, Government Projects manager at the Abu Dhabi Smart Solutions and Services Authority, said: “If you’re planning to move to Abu Dhabi but have no idea where to live and what to do, and struggling to find a home that meets your family’s needs — from schools, hospitals, shopping centres, events, mosques, educational centres and sports clubs”, Tamm will help.

“Abu Dhabi has redesigned an end-to-end journey that will give you access to all services you need to make your everyday life better, more convenient and easier,” she said.

The Abu Dhabi Government is displaying a prototype of the platform in Yas Mall, with the aim of introducing the system to customers and receiving suggestions and comments about the ambitious project.

Speaking to Gulf News, Mansour Al Marzouqi, Strategy and Planning manager at the authority, said the new platform allows all its customers — be they citizens, residents, visitors or investors — to obtain a comprehensive range of government services through one combined portal at any time and place, without the need to visit government authorities or their websites, through a smart application, the e-portal or Tamm branches.”

Gradually, all other customer care centres will be shut and only Tamm centres will be available across the emirate, he said.

People need to register and can avail all services. However, for home searches, no registration is required.
