Sultan Bin Zayed Centre distributes Children’s Encyclopedia of Stories
Sick children at Shaikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) received the books on the occasion of Ramadan
Abu Dhabi: Representatives from the Sultan Bin Zayed Centre for Culture and Media on Wednesday distributed copies of the Children’s Encyclopedia of Stories to a number of sick children at Shaikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC) on the occasion of Ramadan.
Mansoor Saeed Al Mansouri, Director of the Department of Culture in the Sultan Bin Zayed Centre for Culture and Media, explained that the distribution of the encyclopaedia comes under the directives of Shaikh Sultan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President’s Representative, affirming that children are the future generation, and that Shaikh Sultan decided to distribute the Children’s Encyclopaedia for children lying in hospital seeking treatment to console them and encourage them to acquire knowledge and culture.
Al Mansouri thanked Khalifa Hospital management on the cooperation provided on the initiative, while Khalifa Hospital management praised the initiative of the Centre, lauding the role of Shaikh Sultan in the dissemination of culture and knowledge in all aspects.
