Sheikh Sultan receives UAE culture minister, delegation from Abu Dhabi’s cultural department

Sharjah: His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on Monday received at Dr Sultan Al Qasimi Centre, Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of Culture and Youth, and the delegation of the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi, headed by Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Head of the Department.

The meeting discussed the history of the UAE, its various achievements in all cultural, historical, and social aspects, and the importance of documenting these achievements through research and cultural activities.

The meeting also discussed the cultural partnerships between all cultural departments and the importance of enhancing them to benefit Arab and Islamic cultures.

Sheikh Sultan accompanied the delegation on tour in the centre, where they got the chance to see the prominent valuable holdings of documents, paintings, photos, and documentary films, in addition to the halls of honours and souvenirs received by the Ruler of Sharjah from various heads international organisations and universities.
