Sharjah: In a move to support local farmers and livestock breeders, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has ordered the creation of a new pasture in Al Dhaid.

The new site, named Al Kharous Pasture, will serve breeders from officially registered farms in the region. To use the facilities, farms must be registered with the Department of Agriculture and Livestock.

According to Dr. Engineer Khalifa bin Musabeh Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Department, the pasture will offer the same top-quality services found in other grazing areas across Sharjah. It’s designed to give livestock breeders better care and support for their animals.

The announcement came during The Direct Line radio programme, aired by the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority.
