Saqr Ghobash re-elected as FNC Speaker in UAE

ABu Dhabi: Saqr Ghobash Al Marri has been re-elected as the Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC). He won the election on Monday unanimously as he was the only candidate. No one else ran for the position.

Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Defence, Interior and Foreign Affairs Committee of the FNC opened the morning’s session which witnessed the introduction of the elected and appointed council members who then took the constitutional oath.
