Dubai: The Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi has announced that it will open on Friday morning, May 5, for a Special Consular Service.
“Passport processing shall be strictly by appointment only,” said Ambassador Constancio Vingno Jr. in a statement issued on May 2, 2017.
The Philipine embassy in Abu Dhabi and its consulate in Dubai started issuing the new biometric passports last year.
In the circular, Ambassador Vingno Jr. said: “The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Abu Dhabi would like to inform the expatriate Filipino community in the emirate of Abu Dhabi that the embassy shall be open on 5 May, 2017 for special consular services.”
The release of passports shall be from 9am to 1 pm, in addition to the applications for notarisation, authentication processing and civil registration.
The Philippine consulate in Dubai also periodically conducts consular outreach services in other emirates.
