Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, made a telephone call this evening to Egyptian President Abdul Fattah Al Sissi, offering condolences for the victims of the terrorist attacks on Mar Gergis Church in Tanta City and Saint Mark Cathedral in Alexandria.

Shaikh Mohammad re-affirmed UAE's support for Egypt and solidarity with the Egyptian people in standing up against those who attempt to undermine the country's security and stability.

He also expressed sympathy and offered condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to the injured, and reiterated his confidence in the Egyptian people's ability to adhere to their national unity and to defeat terrorism. Shaikh Mohammad prayed to Allah the Almighty to safeguard the people of Egypt from all evils.

Al Sissi thanked Shaikh Mohammad and said the Egyptian people are proud of their fraternal relations with the people of the UAE. He also reiterated that all Egyptian people are coming together against terrorism and its sinister schemes against Egypt and the Arab nation.
