Mohammad performs prayers in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Monday led worshippers in performing funeral prayers for Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Bin Hamdan Bin Mohammad Al Nahyan.

The funeral prayers were performed at Shaikh Zayed Mosque in Al Zaab area in Abu Dhabi. Other shaikhs, top officials and scores of Emiratis also performed the funeral prayers.

Following the prayers, the body of Shaikh Hamdan was taken to Al Bateen Cemetery where he was laid to rest.
