Ministry of Defence celebrates Emirati Women’s Day

Abu Dhabi: The Ministry of Defence distributed on Sunday souvenirs to its employees, as part of its celebration of Emirati Women’ Day.

As the occasion coincided with the first day of school and to support women’s role as a mother, the ministry gave permissions to its women employees to start their work day at 10am so they could escort their children to their schools.

This initiative reflects the ministry’s keenness to activate positive and constructive initiatives and aims to show appreciation to women for the role they are playing, the ministry said.
