McDonalds earns National Halal Mark

Dubai: Emirates Authority for Standardisation and Metrology (Muwasafat) granted McDonalds the national halal mark, in recognition of the food chain’s efforts and commitment to the highest levels of quality and meeting requirements set by the UAE Halal products regulation system.

The halal mark was granted by Dr Rashid Ahmad Bin Fahd, Chairman of Muwasafat. McDonalds was honoured during a ceremony. McDonalds UAE is the first fast food company to have earned the halal mark.
