Martyrs' memorial to rise in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has ordered the construction of a martyrs’ memorial in Abu Dhabi in honour of fallen Emirati soldiers.

The move of building this national landmark aims to honour the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation and keep their names engraved on the memories of Emirati citizens. The memorial is meant inspire present and future generations and keep the UAE flag flying high, exemplifying the glory and dignity of the nation.

Shaikh Mohammad also instructed the Martyrs’ Affairs Office at the Crown Prince’s Court to supervise the implementation of the memorial and follow up the necessary plans in coordination with relevant bodies and organisations.
