Khalifa receives Saud, meets group of citizens
President offers assurance on public utility services
Al Ain: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Monday received at Al Rawda His Highness Shaikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain.
General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, was also present
Later, Shaikh Khalifa welcomed scores of UAE citizens. The meeting is in line with Shaikh Khalifa's keenness to follow up on their conditions and discuss their requirements and concerns.
The President assured them of his determination and keenness to provide them with their public utility needs and other essential services, as well as supporting infrastructure and developmental projects across the UAE in all fields.
The group of citizens expressed their gratitude to the President, wished him good health, and praised the special attention he gives to the welfare of the UAE citizens.
During the meeting, poets recited poetry, expressing their happiness on meeting Shaikh Khalifa and wished him good health to continue with the UAE's march towards development and prosperity under his wise leadership.
Lunch banquet
Shaikh Khalifa also hosted a lunch banquet in honour of his guests.
Also present during the meeting were Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Shaikh Tahnoun Bin Mohammad Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Eastern Region, Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and other shaikhs and senior officials.
