Hamdan approves Dubai Courts restructuring

Dubai: Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, on Wednesday issued a new resolution to reorganise the organisational structure of the Dubai Courts.

Executive Council Resolution No. (53) of 2016 will annul Executive Council Resolution No. (15) of 2014 and any other legislation that contradicts or challenges this resolution.

Shaikh Hamdan issued the resolution in his capacity as the chairman of the Dubai Executive Council. The new resolution is effective from the date of issuance.

Formed in 2003, the Executive Council assists the emirate’s ruler in carrying out his tasks and exercising his powers.
