Gulf social media summit in September

Dubai: The fourth GCC Government Social Media Summit (GSMS) will be held in Dubai from September 16-17. This year’s summit theme will be “Leveraging Social Networks to Drive Government Innovation and Create Smart Cities”.

The event is expected to attract more than 20 leading speakers and more than 250 regional and international communications and social media experts, decision-makers and executives from the government sector. Besides keynote addresses and panel discussions, there will also be workshops on social media use in various government sectors. (Staff Report)
