eMigrate system faces technical glitch

Dubai: The eMigrate system, launched by the Government of India to streamline the recruitment of labourers from India, is facing some technical difficulties.

In a statement, the Consulate General of India said the system available on emigrate.gov.in is taking time to process applications, both in UAE and India.

The consulate said there could be some delay in accepting, processing and final approval of the recruitment documents. Efforts are on to resolve the problem.

The system mandates all prospective employers to register first and then place the demand for workers.
