Municipality’s Year of Community drive to take digital services to residents’ doorstep
Dubai: Dubai Municipality is making it easier than ever for residents to access its services, with the expansion of its innovative “Happiness Vehicle” initiative.
Designed to provide convenience and speed, the Happiness Vehicle comes directly to your doorstep, offering a seamless way to complete government transactions quickly and efficiently, the civic body has revealed.
“Dubai Municipality offers you the ‘Happiness Vehicle,’ which comes to your doorstep to facilitate your access to its digital services and to complete your transactions efficiently and quickly,” the municipality said in a post on X.
This unique service, available as part of the municipality’s “Year of Community” initiative, ensures that residents can easily access government services without the need to leave their homes. This will be specifically useful for senior citizens, people of determination and others who need assistance with navigating traditional service points and digital access.
How to book it?
By booking the vehicle in advance, residents can select a time slot that fits their schedule.
To reserve the Happiness Vehicle, residents can call the municipality’s customer service toll-free hotline 800900 and book an appointment. The vehicle operates daily from 9am to 2.30pm.
Initially launched as a service primarily aimed at supporting senior citizens, the Happiness Vehicle has now expanded its reach to include all residents of Dubai.
The initiative aligns with the Municipality’s goals of promoting citizens’ overall wellbeing and advancing the provision of proactive, integrated services that exceed expectations and elevate quality of life, the civic body had said earlier.
As part of the “Year of Community” initiative, which aims to foster stronger community bonds, this service further underscores Dubai’s ongoing efforts to build a more connected, supportive society.
