Dubai residency department announces working hours during Eid holidays

People can call the toll free service ‘Amer’ on 8005111 seven days a week to inquire or to submit urgent transactions

Dubai: The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA) has announced working hours during Eid Al Fitr holidays. Work during the Eid holidays will starts from 9am and will continue until 1pm on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays and that will be at the external centre of the GDRFA at Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport.

The GDRFA also will receive customers on Thursday, from 9am until 2pm at Al Tawar centre and Al Manara Centre, while public can call the toll free service ‘Amer’ on 8005111 seven days a week to inquire or to submit urgent transactions.

Major General Mohammad Ahmad Rashid Al Marri , Director of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai said the GDRFA is working under the guidance of His Highness Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, in order to provide best services to the public and to facilitate transactions for visitors, residents and tourists.

Major General Al Marri added that a number of employees have been entrusted with the task to ensure speedy completion of customers’ urgent transactions. “This procedure comes in implementation of the leadership’s directives that stipulate the need to upgrade the level of services provided to the public."

On the occasion of Eid Al Fitr Major General Al Marri sends sincere congratulations and best wishes and blessings to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may Allah protect him, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and Their Highnesses Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates, and the Crown Princes, and to all citizens and residents of the UAE.

Major General Obaid Mohair Bin Surour, Deputy Director of the GDRFA, also offers congratulations and best wishes to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and Their Highnesses Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates, and the Crown Princes, and to all citizens and residents of the UAE on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.
