Dubai prepares over 950 mosques and prayer areas for Eid Al Adha

A smooth and comfortable worship experience is ensured during the Eid festivities

Dubai: Dubai’s Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department has announced that more than 950 mosques and prayer grounds across the emirate are fully prepared to welcome worshippers for Eid Al Adha prayers.

The department confirmed that all necessary preparations have been completed, including cleaning services, ablution facilities, and maintenance of electrical and sound systems — ensuring a smooth and comfortable worship experience during the Eid celebrations.

Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi, Director General of the department, said that specialised teams have finalised all logistical arrangements, preparing prayer spaces to meet the highest standards. He added that coordination with relevant authorities has been completed to manage traffic and ensure easy access to prayer sites across Dubai.
