Dubai Police warn residents against 'free online games'

Be careful what you wish for, goes the old adage. This is especially true if you ate trying to explore gaming options on the internet.

On December 7, Dubai Police reiterated the need for vigilance when playing online. In a tweet send tagged #YourSecurityOurHappiness, the policing authority explained that games that offer free play time most often collect and exploit personal data.

The tweet also urged all gamers to spread awareness of the pitfalls that come with exploring said ‘free option’.
