Drug dealer arrested in Ajman

5,000 tramadol pills found in his possession along with other restricted drugs

Ajman: A major drug dealer has been arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Department of Ajman Police in cooperation with Sharjah Police’s Anti-Narcotics Department.

A report was received by the police that E.A.M., a Gulf national, was in possession of narcotics, which he intended to sell.

A joint team from the two departments carried out a surveillance operation. As a result, the man was arrested on August 11. After searching his vehicle 5,000 tramadol pills were found along with a number of other restricted drugs.

After investigations it was found that E.A.M. was involved in a number of drug-related crimes, and is considered a major drug dealer.

He was referred to the public prosecution.

Colonel Saeed Hamed Al Hosani, Director of Ajman Police’s Anti-Narcotics Department, advised parents to supervise their children and to teach them about the dangers of using drugs.
