Dh2m in bonuses for Emirati fishermen in Sharjah

Sharjah: His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on Wednesday ordered the payment of Dh2 million in bonuses to 236 Emirati fishermen prior to Ramadan.

Dr Shaikh Sultan issued the directives to the Al Jubail Market management, according to Walid Al Sayegh, CEO of Sharjah Asset Management, who made the announcement during a telephone call to the Direct Line programme, which is broadcast on Sharjah Radio and TV. Al Sayegh said that the bonus was for licensed fishermen who have met the requirements set by Al Jubail Market’s management.
