Defence Ministry opens Year of Zayed 2018 exhibition
Exhibition showcases photographs and paintings, as well as coins and books printed during Zayed era

Abu Dhabi: The Ministry of Defence on Tuesday opened the ‘Year of Zayed 2018’ exhibition at its headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
The exhibition, inaugurated by Mohammad Ahmad Al Bawardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, marks the 100th birthday of the Founding Father, Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
The exhibition, which runs until the end of the year, showcases some photographs, paintings and collections that record aspects of Shaikh Zayed’s life, as well as a rare collection of coins and books printed during the life of the founding father.
