Employees from some industries can commute to work during this time

Dubai: Even as Dubai extends its sterilization drive hours to a 24-hour programme for the next two weeks subject to renewal, some staff members are allowed to continue to commute to work between 8am and 2pm daily.
The staff from the following industries are exempt from travel restrictions during this period:
- Banking and financial services (banks and exchange centres)
- Social welfare services.
- Laundry services (for permitted outlets)
- Maintenance services
