Coronavirus in UAE: 'Don't wear N-95 face masks,' says ministry

Dubai: The Ministry of Health and Prevention on Saturday advised the public not to wear the N-95 facial mask as it may cause stress on the respiratory system and lead to future respiratory diseases.

Children are categorically prohibited to wear this mask, the Ministry added.

The "N-95 medical mask" is intended only for medical staff working in places where infected patients are being treated.
