Market to accommodate 148 showrooms and a service facility
Dubai: Showrooms at Al Ruwayyah’s new Truck Market are being distributed among merchants, the Dubai Municipality said.
The 421,000-square-metre market can accommodate 88 truck showrooms and 60 showrooms for spare parts as well as an advanced service facility. It provides traders with a single location that offers comprehensive services, such as vehicle testing, financing services, insurance and auctions.
“We have already selected 30 merchants to occupy the new Truck Market, which is ready for operation,” Hussain Nasser Lootah, Director-General of Dubai Municipality, said.
“The Dh72.2 million project is expected to be officially inaugurated by the end of 2014 complying 100 per cent with green building rules and specialised in businesses related to trucks and spare parts, and will contribute to stimulating the national economy and save time and effort for both customers and dealers.”
